Bookkeeping
Bookkeeping is the act of recording the financial transactions of a business. Whilst bookkeeping is not a legal requirement, it is vital to fulfilling other accounting activities that are legal requirements such as statutory accounting and end of year accounts preparation.
When bookkeeping you must keep a record of all income and all expenditure, such as sales and purchases. The purpose of this is to both provide accurate records for VAT and taxation and also to keep an day to day overview of the cash position of the business.
The simplicity of bookkeeping is entirely dependant on the size and complexity of a business, with some business owners able to update their books themselves on a daily or weekly basis, whilst other business owners may need to employ extra staff or even outsource the bookkeeping work.
At Tax Innovations we can be as flexible as you wish. We can provide a full bookkeeping service from your office or ours; or we can spend a few hours with you to implement the systems you need to do it yourself.
And of course you would have the benefit of our management accountants’ knowledge to advise you of any difficulties you might be facing in the future.
We offer a free initial consultation so should you wish to talk to us please call us on 01962 856 990 or by visiting our contact page.
